Wedding at The Manor Weston On The Green Country House Hotel. I had the privilege of capturing the special day of Emily and Dean at The Manor at Weston On The Green Country House Hotel on a gorgeous, late May day.

Bridal Preparations

On the morning of the wedding, the bride and her bridesmaids gathered in the bridal suite of The Manor at Weston On The Green Country House Hotel. Together, they shared a glass of champagne to celebrate the special day. The bridesmaids assisted the bride in getting into her dress, carefully zipping up the back and ensuring it fitted perfectly. Dressed in beautiful lilac and powder pink colours, the bridesmaids complemented the bride’s attire. The bride’s hair was elegantly curled and pinned up in an updo, while her make-up gave her a natural, glowing look. With preparations complete, the bridal party then made their way to the church for the ceremony.

Wedding Ceremony

St. John the Baptist church in Bodicote, Banbury, hosted the wedding ceremony, a location steeped in family history as it was where Emily’s grandparents had married. Following the ceremony, the festivities continued with a drinks reception held in the gardens of The Manor Country House.

Once the ceremony had concluded, the newly married couple returned to The Manor Country House Hotel for a drinks reception. The wedding breakfast took place in The Baronial Hall, where guests indulged in a delicious meal. The Maid of Honor, Emily’s sister, added her personal touch by creating a stunning wedding cake adorned with fresh berries, which was then skillfully sliced with a sword.

Wedding Breakfast

One of the highlights of the day was the speeches, delivered by the groom’s brother, the best man. Filled with hilarious stories and anecdotes from the groom’s childhood and teenage years, the audience erupted into fits of laughter throughout the speech, making it a heartwarming tribute to the groom and his brotherly bond.

In summary, The Manor at Weston On The Green Country House Hotel proved to be an excellent wedding venue. Its green grounds, stunning views, and traditional architecture provided a beautiful backdrop and the perfect setting for an unforgettable experience.
