Wedding Highlights 2017

    Wedding Highlights 2017

Another amazing year has come to an end and we can’t thank our couples enough for celebrating their weddings with us.

We’re excited to share these spectacular wedding photos from the past year. We spent hours going through all of the weddings again and again which was very emotional. Ideally we’d love to share all of the photos as every single wedding was very special.  We’ve ended up choosing over 300 favourite photos which is still way too many but we just love them sooo much.

If you don’t feel like scrolling through all of them here’s a little vid with randomly selected ones.

Where do I start, wow what a stunning wedding this was! Hannah and Nick are such a lovely and fun couple and I absolutely loved every minute of their wedding day.

The beautiful ceremony took place at the historic Church of All Saints, in the picturesque village of Brill, followed by the most amazing reception at Boarstall Tower. A fourteenth-century moated gatehouse, built by John de Haudlo and once part of a fortified manor house, set in wonderful gardens. All the details were planned to perfection and everything looked just stunning. The reception food provided for by the accomplished chef Romain Alinat was to die for.

The day was interrupted with a cheeky visit to Brill Windmill where Hannah insisted on running back for her flowers left in the car , a great photo opportunity if ever there was one! Followed of course by the most delicious ice creams on the hill.

I had a pleasure to work with Richard who beautifully captured the couple on the special day.

    Herons Farm Wedding – Berkshire

We first met Anwen and Kevin through the wonders of Instagram and were so thrilled to have the opportunity to shoot their fabulous wedding. Anwen and Kevin are so wonderful and we knew their wedding would be a super special one.

The church service was held at the beautiful  St James the Less Church, Pangbourne , a Listed Building dating back to 1718. Afterwards we made our way to the reception held at Herons Farm a fabulous and romantic tythe barn, flanked by stables and stable cottages. The setting amongst courtyards, gardens and woods made for a fantastic backdrop for a memorable country wedding reception.

The entire day was filled with such a fantastic vibe, we just didn’t want the day to end.

Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy!

Jo and John got married in Friars court. I met with them couple days prior the wedding and despite the bad weather forecast they never I never doubted that their wedding will be totally awesome… and it exceeded my expectations.

The Friars court is an absolutely stunning venue. It has been home to the Willmer family since 1917. The current Cotswold stone farmhouse has stood on its moated site, close to the River Thames, for over 300 years.

There have been buildings on the site since 1149 when the Monastic Knights of St. John founded the first ‘Hospitallery’ in Oxfordshire. Here the resident friars would have offered rest and refreshment to the weary medieval traveller.
